SOLO EXHIBITION
6-19.10.2025 (POSK London)
Eagles Hall
9am-9pm
I am a marquetry artist who uses wood as my primary medium of expression.
My art is a search for harmony — between precision and emotion. I mostly focus on simple geometry and abstraction, often with elements of science fiction. I use natural materials — solid wood blanks as a base, various veneers, mother-of-pearl, silver, gold, traditional hide glue, and natural resin to achieve a refined finish.
Working with a rather uncommon art technique reveals the beauty of wood craftsmanship, but also demands patience and great attention to detail.
Outside of the art world, I support people and the local community. I am the co-founder and director of Norfolk Polonia CIC, a support organisation for the Polish community in Norwich. We run the West Earlham Community Centre in Norwich and provide assistance to Poles in Norfolk and Suffolk. My main goal for the future is to use income from art to fund free educational and developmental opportunities for people living in poverty, especially children, in the UK and Poland.
Before moving to the UK in 2015, I worked for NGOs, taught, performed in semi-professional theatre productions, and created short films that were shown at many Polish film festivals. I also coordinated EU youth projects from 2007 to 2013 and worked as a cultural animator. I hold a Master's degree in Fine Arts Education from the National Education Commission University in Krakow, Poland.
I obtained British citizenship in 2022 and now proudly represent both Poland and the United Kingdom.
I don't currently have my own online shop, but I can send a brochure with my art and current prices upon request.
